Makeover time!

So before I tried to apply the book pages to my GIANT cabinet I wanted to see what it would look like with this smaller one.  The green was already screaming for a makeover so why not???

An easy paint job and a few old pages out of a book can change so much!  I just love this now.  It was kinda scary attempting this I will admit, it bubbled up so much I thought I did something wrong, but after a few hours it dried completely flat.

Cabinet Makeover...

Found this fun little, well actually HUGE cabinet on craigslist.  I am so excited to give it a nice little face lift... Just don't know what yet.  Anyone have any suggestions?  I was debating doing something on the doors and the top with old music sheets and then a nice antique glaze to finish it off... After of course a new paint job....



Table Re-do

In search of a great coffee table screaming to be painted white.... Where better to look then Craigslist right?

Found this adorable table for a great price!  Couldn't pass it up!  A little primer, paint and distressing it made it the perfect addition to our home.

New curtains



I was getting a little tired of these plain boring red curtains, I needed something more.  But when searching around for new curtains it surprised me on how expensive they are!  I don't know how to sew so I didn't think I could make my own... Until I got an idea! 



I got an old piece of wood and hammered a few nails into it.  I bought a few yards of fabric and some

netting and then hung it off of the nails and stapled the netting into the wood, I think I turned out perfect!!

And I didnt have to sew anything..

Halloween... To early??

I love this time of the year!  I just cant get enough of decorating for all the holidays!  I know Halloween is still a few weeks away but there's nothing wrong with a nice little front porch makeover is there??
